Do You Know The Real Price Of Your Being Warm and Cozy This Winter?

When the snow is blowing and the winds are whipping at your face it’s a comforting feeling as you pull the fur of your coat hood snugly about you. Or perhaps you wiggle those tender tootsies amongst the robust fur of your imitation Uggs. Sure is a warm and comforting picture isn't it considering winter is on its way?

I wonder though if you knew the real price that may have been paid for your comforts would you be able to enjoy them as much? Now you may be saying that you really did get a great deal on those imitation Uggs, and sure they were made it China, but they are the next best thing to the real thing which you simply cannot afford.

What you may not realize is that the price that was paid for these beautiful boots was that by the animal that unwillingly donated his skin so he could line the pockets of ruthless China manufacturers with money and keep us warm at the same time. We truly can be forgiven for our ignorance but this cannot be said for those money hungry tyrants, who are in such a hurry to get their product produced to churn in the money they cannot even be humane at the slaughter of the animals that they need the pelts from.

I know you don't want to hear this, because we all have our own share of sadness in the world, but please just this once bare the pain of the words and take a stance.

It has been reported that some manufacturers of the fake Uggs in China are using horrific practices to kill the animals. They are virtually skinning them alive and throwing the skinned animals in heaps who are still drawing their last breaths in horrific pain. This is just a brief description of the atrocities that are being reported. I know this is a terrible thing to have to read, but we simply must do something if we have any human decency in us at all. You know its easy to say that this is a way of life, but it doesn't have to be, and God help us if this is what we have reduced ourselves to.

There is much we can do about this if we band together. Please find a group to join that will help you do your little part. Even just refusing to buy these knock offs that are coming in from China that are made of any type of fur or skin and making a point to mention it to the stores where you may be shopping if you see them, will make an impact.
